Realme UI 7.0 in India: Features, Release Timeline & Updates
bmw | Nov. 18, 2025
Realme has continued to refine its software experience with every generation, especially for a major market like India. Its latest step in this journey is Realme UI 7.0, built on top of Android 16 and introduced with a modern design language, upgraded performance, and advanced AI features. More than just a routine update, Realme UI 7.0 represents a fresh transformation of the everyday digital experience for millions of Indian users.
The first thing that stands out in Realme UI 7.0 is its visual redesign. With the new Light Glass Design, the interface feels lighter, clearer, and more three-dimensional. Icons have been redesigned into what Realme calls Ice Cube Icons, giving them a refined and stylish appearance compared to older flat icons. The Control Center now features a soft Misty Glass texture, creating a clean and futuristic feel. To complement this, Flux Theme 2.0 introduces improved wallpapers, smoother animations, and a more fluid system layout. Users also get the freedom to personalize their device with video wallpapers and customizable fingerprint animations.
AI has become a central focus of Realme UI 7.0. One of the most practical additions is AI Notify Brief, which intelligently organizes notification overload by summarizing important updates during specific times of the day. For users who enjoy taking photos, AI Framing Master assists in composing better shots by suggesting improved angles and framing options. As mobile gaming continues to grow rapidly in India, AI Gaming Coach analyzes gameplay patterns and provides tips for a better gaming experience. These features together reflect Realme’s intent to bring meaningful AI assistance into everyday smartphone use.
Security improvements from Android 16 are also deeply integrated into this update. Privacy controls are more transparent, and Private Space 2.0 allows users to safely store sensitive apps and files. Permission management has become clearer and more user-friendly, ensuring stronger protection of personal data.
Performance has been enhanced through Realme’s Flux Engine, which aims to deliver faster responses, smoother scrolling, and better overall system stability. Multitasking has also been redesigned to feel more natural. Floating windows are easier to manage, side shortcuts are more accessible, and switching between apps is more seamless than before. These practical upgrades make Realme UI 7.0 feel more refined and productivity-focused.
In India, the rollout is planned in multiple phases. The first batch of devices is expected to receive the update starting from Q4 2025, with a broader rollout extending into Q1 2026. The Realme GT 8 Pro will reportedly be the first phone to launch with Realme UI 7.0 pre-installed, marking a new standard for upcoming Realme models.
Like any major software release, Realme UI 7.0 has received some early criticism. A few beta testers in India reported missing features, animation glitches, or delays in receiving the update. Since the beta program is currently limited to Indian users, many are still waiting for their chance to experience the new UI. However, such issues are typical during early development stages and are expected to be resolved before the final stable rollout.
Despite minor setbacks, Realme UI 7.0 stands out as one of Realme’s most thoughtful updates. Its blend of modern design, AI-powered intelligence, improved security, and smoother performance signals Realme’s growing commitment to refining the software experience. For a diverse and tech-savvy market like India, this update shows how far Android customization can go in delivering personalization and innovation.
Realme UI 7.0 is not just an upgrade; it is a glimpse into the future of Realme’s digital ecosystem and a compelling step toward a smarter, simpler, and more intuitive smartphone experience for Indian users.
